Born and Raised in South Jamaica, Queens, NY. Salih Bey is a hip-hop artist, songwriter, and visionary whose music blends conscious storytelling, street wisdom, cultural reflection, and personal transformation. Beginning his musical journey at thirteen, inspired by local rap crews and early hip-hop legends, he built a sound rooted in lyricism, authenticity, and versatility.
Influenced by Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Tupac Shakur, Jay Z, Nas, Rakim, Ice Cube,The Notorious B.I.G., Redman, Prodigy, and Kool G Rap. Salih's music merges the sharp edge of New York hip-hop with elements of R&B and pop.
His music explores relationships, freindship, culture, self-empowerment, perserverance and the power of the conscious manifestation. Through every release, Salih seeks to uplift, empower, heal and inspire.
The road has been shaped by loss, incarcerations, overcoming addiction, and years of studying multiple spiritual traditions and philosophies. He turned every challenge into fuel for growth and creative expression.
